In 2026, I went back to Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, and Lucretia My Reflection hit differently on a second run. The mission began right after I finally chewed through the Chimera mech in Spider and the Fly. I grabbed its core, mostly because the objective told me it was optional and I never figured out what it was actually for. Then I walked over to President Myers, who somehow looked both exhausted and ready to give orders.

What the mission wanted from me:

• Take the Chimera's core, then talk to Myers

• Find an entrance to the subway tunnels and lead Myers through them

• Take the elevator to the 8th floor and reach the hideout

• Restore power by finding a working battery

• Talk with Myers, have a beer if wanted, and eliminate the threat

• Decide whether to swear the FIA oath

• Head to Capitan Caliente, find an entrance, and reach the basketball court

• Meet Solomon Reed, defeat Hansen's agents, and return to the hideout

• Wait two days for Reed's call

My first real obstacle was just getting out of the room. The exit was a door on a huge metal container. Before opening it, I looted every piece of ammo I could find upstairs because Cyberpunk 2077 never stops punishing you for running dry.

Once inside, the subway tunnels gave me and Myers plenty of time to talk. I chose the right fork, which led us out without much trouble. There were a few cameras, and I turned them off when I could. It was not a stealth run, though. I killed anyone who might slow me down but stayed careful not to attract the cops. The tunnels also let me ask Johnny about what happened after he vanished, thanks to Songbird's influence.

At the end, an elevator took us to the eighth floor. I scanned a spray-painted tarot card near the top, which felt like a small piece of Night City even inside this broken area. The walk to the hideout was short, but the apartment was dark and had no power.

The Hunt for a Battery

Lucretia My Reflection turned into a puzzle here. I activated the generator and saw that I needed another battery. I spent way too long scanning the dark room. The solution was right next to President Myers. Near where she was changing, a drone sat on a table. Scanning it revealed a battery I could remove. Once I slotted it into the generator, the lights came on and I could finally stop squinting.

After that, Myers and I had another long talk. She offered me a beer, and I accepted. There was no downside, and the conversation felt more natural with something in hand. Then two scavs broke in looking for trouble. Myers was fast and ruthless, and the fight was over quickly. It was a reminder that the president was not just a politician in Cyberpunk 2077.

The Oath and the Hidden Entrance

Next came the FIA oath. I tried both choices: swearing the oath and refusing it. Both paths still sent me to meet Reed. The difference was in how Johnny reacted and how the conversation with Reed felt. It did not change the mission structure, but it changed the tone. I ended up taking the oath because the coin seemed useful later.

Then the mission sent me to Capitan Caliente Restaurant. I searched the wrong building for far too long. The real entrance was outside, near the stims dealer who keeps yelling about his stims every time you walk by. Around the corner, I found a door. I used tech to open it because my V did not have the strength to force it. Mines were strapped to the door, so I shot them from a safe distance first.

Inside, I found a set of shelves in the back left corner. A blue chest sat on it, and a magnifying glass appeared on my minimap. I pushed the shelves aside and made the call. Using the code 0931, I finally got Solomon Reed on the line. He told me to go to a basketball court.

At the basketball court, Johnny opened up about his life before music. Then I felt a gun in my back. I followed the instructions, walked to the black Thorton, and took a ride with Reed. Things went wrong almost immediately. Kurt Hansen's agents were waiting for us. With Reed's help, I put them down. They were not special enemies, just an obstacle between me and the president.

After the fight, we returned to the hideout. Myers and Reed had a long conversation with me, and I even had the option to ask Myers on a date. I took it because why not. Reed explained that the next step would take time. I left the building, picked up a few side gigs from Mr. Hands, and waited two days. Then the mission closed and led directly into The Damned.

Even in 2026, Lucretia My Reflection still feels like a slow-burn setup mission done right. It has just enough action, a lot of dialogue, and one annoying battery puzzle that I will not forget twice.
